Author’s
notes- Realized I haven’t written a C/X fic in a while,and decided I
had to. This is a short fic, angst ridden, maybe I’ll do a sequel if people
want me to. The idea for it was after listening to the song “never Ever”,
by All Saints, which I think, aside from My Favorite Mistake, but Sheryl
Crow, and “push”, by Matchbox 20, is perfect for describing post lover
walk angst.Also, Always, by Bon Jovi, will be used for Xander parts. Hence,
the title. :-)
This
goes a little confusing. I'm doing it in the style of "the Pigman", which
is, the prologue is omniscient, but each chapter is told in first person.
Cordelia's perspective is first, and Xander's is next, then Cordy again,
then Xander, and so forth. Ambitious, I know, but I felt like I needed
a change of style. We'll see how well I do. :-)
Also,
Faith has been found out, Wesley is really in love with Cordy, and the
gang knows about the ascension. Okay? :-)
Spoilers-
Ahh.... Dopplegandland, what’s up with crackhead Joss’ (stole the name
from Courtney - love ya girl. :-) ) characterization of Cordelia?!?!?!
