Title: Dark Midnight: Tea Paradox
Author: Shaz Nolan / ladycyke@hotmail.com
Rating: NC-17: sexual situations, language, some violence
Genre: Xover: Angel/X-Men, sequel to FIRST NIGHT; C/A, F/G, S/J, J/W
(flashback only)
Disclaimers: Joss Whedon and Bryan Singer pretty much hold the keys
to the palace here, I'm just house sitting and watering the plants. The
characters
of "Angel: the Series" and "X-Men" (both movie and comicverse), nor
any product, band nor movie mentioned herein don't belong to me, and no
copyright infringement is intended, nor is there any profit here. Just
the Mad Muses commandeering the keyboard. Archive: Ask first, I'll probably
say yes. Otherwise, see the official Dark Midnight site: http://www.greymalkinlane.com/darkmidnight/.
Thanks to: Misty, naturally, who asked for two things and got 33k worth
of words. :) Luv ya babe, thanks for letting me play. And to Minisinoo,
who's
done an exemplary job of keeping me in line with canon-- even when
this story was sitting on a shelf gathering dust. And, well, she rocks.
:) (Just ignore the contacts. I'll find a way to explain their plausibility
later. *g*)
A/N: Seems like an eon ago that I started this. Basically, if you've
not read FIRST NIGHT, go do it, and not just cause it's that good. *g*
While this is something of a story that can stand by itself, if you don't
know what happened to make all these people interact with one another,
you're missing some of the underlying tension that I adore in this A/U.
God is in the details, natch. The flashbacks... well, I could just have
Jean tell it and make it all dry and shortened for length boredom factor...
but where would we be there then? I'm a long time comic fan on top of an
X-Men movieverse writer... and the chance to play with the backgrounds
of characters I've known for over a decade is really irresistible.
